News: Red Dead Redemption 2?

Mysterious images and profile changes posted on Rockstar social media account might be the first teasers for the highly-anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2, and unsurprisingly the gaming community is going wild with speculation.

Magnificent 7?

Rockstar Games, no strangers to a gaming conspiracy, tweeted the image with no caption – leading many fans believe it signifies the production starting on the Wild West adventure game’s sequel. The distinctly red-hued image shows seven figures, although no body can quite agree what this might mean. While some claim the seven figures represent a shift away from lone-ranger style gameplay, others believe it could symbolise the possibility of multiplayer in Red Dead Redemption 2. You can see Rockstar’s tweet below and make up your own mind:

Leaked Red Dead Redemption Map

This isn’t the first hint we’ve had that a second Red Dead Redemption was in the works – earlier this year we saw what was supposed to be a leaked maps for Red Dead Redemption 2’s new world map.

While the makers of Grand Theft Auto didn’t address the map directly, “a source close to the development of the new Red Dead game” reportedly claimed it was “a very recent art direction map” for a Red Dead sequel. It seems that if Rockstar really are moving ahead with a sequel, this map might very well be verified.

Fans have waited a long time for the second in the Red Dead Redemption series, which sold a massive 14 million copies after its release on the xBox 360 and Playstation 3 way back in 2010. If you’re feeling the nostalgia right now, you can play the original Red Dead Redemption via the Xbox store. Playstation users, sorry but you’re just not that lucky.

Update 20/11/2016: There’s now a Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer and HOLY. CRAP! We can’t wait!
